During Chip’s “Light Work” video, he wore a Velour jogging tracksuit — he can’t run out of bars. Chip thinks Bugzy is jealous of how he can wear a tracksuit and receive positive feedback about it whereas Bugzy would look like a tramp.

Below is one of the most liked comments on the YouTube page of Bugzy’s “Wasteman” diss, poking fun at the song and the outfit Bugzy was wearing. It’s very possible that Chip noticed this and saw it as an opportunity to capitalize on the man’s wardrobe choices.

Bugzy likes to play the numbers game now that he has more followers gained from the beginning of the beef, during his “Wasteman” diss he said:

People lie, numbers don’t
People fade, numbers won’t

Note that during Chip’s “Coward” response to Tinie the day before, he said: “Don’t give a fuck ‘bout millions sold, Whoever’s still playing the numbers game Safe, fuck off, play on your own”, Chip isn’t about playing the numbers game and Bugzy isn’t giving him any credit because the man has never even sold a million, unlike Chip who did just that with his first album I Am Chipmunk. He actually sold over 3 million, but he’s saying it more of how Bugzy hasn’t reached that level on any platform, which is a big deal in the industry.

He’s also referring to when Bugzy said: “your EP flopped And I’ve got an EP in the top ten”

As you can see from the photo below Chip’s Ep did chart on Itunes. To be fair Bugzy could be referring to his “Believe and Achieve Ep” but that was never made clear, and that Ep didn’t flop either.

Chip has accused Bugzy for lying about him, he’s actually said some things to prove that Bugzy was just talking crud. He thinks Bugzy has more resentment for this.

“comes right behind” is actually a triple entendre-

Comes right (correct) behind the truth.
Comes right behind Bugzy’s track.
Comes right behind Bugzy to screw him over.

During Bugzy’s “Wasteman” diss he shouts that Chip is a wasteman several times, he used that same strategy to repeat that Bugzy is a “Dickhead” just as many times. It’s also a pun at how the man repeats himself more than often.

Chip can’t be a wasteman if Bugzy’s career thrived off dissing him in “Relegation Riddim”, that just doesn’t make sense, Chip’s career stature is what made that diss so heavy. As you can see from what Chip is pointing out, Bugzy is running out of bars and can’t even place his mind on a relevant name to call his opponent.

Chip has landed a “Hat-Trick” on Bugzy and so has Fellow Tottenham MC Rage, who has nearly landed two hat-trick’s on Bugzy. This bar connects with the last two about Bugzy filming ‘Relegation Riddim’ in Tottenham as a sign of disrespect. Rage has been pursuing his beef with Bugzy’s actions in defense to Tottenham. Rumor has it that Bugzy has blocked Rage on twitter and isn’t planning to send back but it isn’t thawed out yet.

Patrick is Tinie Tempah’s real name, he was the only artist to support Bugzy’s “Wasteman” diss considering he is also beefing with Chip. Instead of Tinie responding to Chip’s “Coward” reply, he decided to just let Bugzy take over, as you can see that doesn’t matter, Chip is still going to take shots at both of them.

As you can see in the track description, Bugzy’s Wasteman diss didn’t last on the internet too long without a response from Chip.

He was actually a little late delivering the video due to uploading issues but it was still completed at the time he planned on. 5 hours later certainly defeats the point of Bugzy saying 5 months is too long.

Chip previously took shots at the MOBOs during his “96 Bars of Revenge” while dissing Bugzy and Tinie. Bugzy was nominated for two awards – Best Newcomer and Best Grime. Bugzy didn’t win, those awards went to Section Boyz and Stormzy respectively, so Chip will most likely squash this beef with the MOBOs. Before the announcements he was actually on his Snapchat ready to smash an award of his like he said, didn’t have to though, instead he shared a celebratory tweet with hash tags on bars from his song “I’m Fine” featuring Stormzy, he also shouts out Section Boyz during that track.

Chip also sat and watched the MOBOs with Skepta, who according to Bugzy on his track “The Revival”- disowned Chip? Turns out Skepta didn’t disown Chip seeing as they’re still boys. Below is his instagram post while they watched. You can read the article explaining how Skepta skipped the awards to hang out with Chip instead, even though he won Best Song.

In the music video Chip is holding his pad and pen. He often uses these as his own ammunition as he doesn’t pretend to be about the gangster life but he’ll shell anyone on a track.

Bugzy came to Tottenham, Chip’s hometown to shoot his video for “Relegation Riddim”, Chip then shot his video for “Run Out Riddim” in the same place where he mocked Bugzy for coming down at a time when no one was about. Since then Bugzy hasn’t dared come back to Tottenham which Chip makes clear once again.

Chip’s saying anything that Bugzy said in his track to discredit him has been famished. Bugzy never came back at him because his bars got spun in just a few hours. Lets not forget Bugzy never came back to his ends after Chip told him not to try it again either. As Bugzy put it, he thinks he relegated Chip out of the league when he filmed “Relegation Riddim” there. Chip swears Bugzy will get run out if he’s planning to try that again, he’s also stating if Bugzy sends again he will run that out too, which he did the next day with his track “Duppy Riddim” in response to Bugzy’s prerecorded “Zombie Riddim”.

He got relegated and kicked straight out of the league

Before Bugzy’s FITB and then his “Relegation Riddim” diss months before, Chip had sent a warning during his “Fire in the Booth Part 2” which was illegally sampled on “Relegation Riddim”:

It can be a warning to anyone. Like I said, when we hear funny tings if it goes just over 60% over the mark of ‘That could be at Chip’ and you’re in the Premier League because it goes right down to Conference – let’s not get it twisted in this rap ting… I’ll be at your neck rudeboy!!

Chip is simply saying Bugzy never relegated him and “kicked him out of the league” because he’s obviously still firing at Bugzy. Responding with a video to “Wasteman” only hours later proves that Chip really is at Bugzy’s neck just like he said before this beef had even officially started and just how he said it when Bugzy sampled that warning during his track.

As Bugzy said during the “Wasteman” diss:

We can’t have a fight like Ryu and Ken
Cuh we know you can only get brave with a pen

Chip doesn’t need to talk this crud, and he doesn’t need to act tough because he knows this is just music and bravery doesn’t only shine when fighting.

He also knows Bugzy would get dealt with if he ever tried anything to physically harm him, he’s saying Bugzy isn’t brave enough to try it with his bruddaz and by the looks of it he doesn’t want to try it with Rage who has been sending for Bugzy without him replying. It appears that Bugzy doesn’t want to go at someone who is considered just as road as him, he’d rather go at someone like Chip who admits to not being road at all.

Bugzy actually had his “Zombie Riddim” video waiting for Chip to drop a reply. As soon as Chip dropped this track Bugzy released his but it didn’t get such positive feedback amongst the fans. Mainly because it was obviously prerecorded and Bugzy started to contradict a lot of the things he said earlier in tracks. There is actually some nasty wordplay hidden in this bar to make it a double entendre, but you can figure that out for yourself.

During Bugzy’s “Wasteman” diss he says:

Referring to Chip’s haircut that he took a shot at in his “Relegation Riddim”. Bugzy thought his insult made Chip shave his head, but as Chip has shown through his bars the Sonic insult is irrelevant because he already spun it, and he might even grow his hair back just to prove it even further. It honestly seems like Chip enjoys the Sonic reference for neither of them can run out.

Bugzy has been taking his time for his response to Chip’s trio of disses (Light Work, Run Out Riddim & Hat-trick) as well as 96 Bars of Revenge which Chip blames on the fact that Bugzy has been spending time searching for content to use to fire at the MC from London. Bugzy has gone to such extreme lengths to find dirt on Chip, that he has gone to Fekky and Wretch 32, two of Chip’s friends in the industry.

Wretch was unimpressed at Chip mentioning his name, taking it to be an attempt by Chip to involve him in the beef.

The Chipmunk is eating the Bug as if he’s lamb neck soup, Remember in Bugzy’s “Relegation Riddim”:

How can a chipmunk fight with a lion?

As you can see from the video, he was turning it up behind the camera as well as his flow and energy. Displaying how easy it is for him to switch up the pace of his flow to his opponent.

Bugzy’s “Relegation Riddim”, “The Revival”, and his latest “Wasteman” have a lot of fabricated rumors throughout his bars i.e. saying Chip is a snitch, in debt, or struggling to pay his rent. He creates these rumors to stir up hype through the youtube viewers which results in a massive amount of deceived fans and views based off immoral accusations. These mind games don’t bother Chip though because he can back it up with bars on the same day and he knows that the intelligent listeners wouldn’t buy into Bugzy’s rumors.

During Bugzy’s outro on ‘Wasteman’ he said:

And in the blue corner
Weighing in at a measly 60lbs
We have a wasteman!

Chip embraces his underdog status though, and he isn’t afraid to take on the so called heavyweight. Boy in da Corner is also the name of Dizzee Rascal’s first album, so Chip may have been giving a shoutout to his grime roots by name-dropping it.

Spinning metaphor. Chip can spin one man one day, then spin around and spin another man on another day. He’s getting his beyblade on. “Light Work” is the first spin that Chip came firing with to re-spark this beef, and get his revenge.

These lines are a response to Bugzy’s line in “Wasteman” that was obviously nonsense:

And I know that you’ve been struggling to pay rent

Chip is calling this a straight lie considering he owns his house and doesn’t need to pay rent.

The fans seem to think it’s hilarious that Bugzy would say that to Chip.

Also note that Bugzy claimed that “all my lyrics are on my Mum’s life” in verse 2 of “Relegation Riddim.” Sadly that is another lie that has now been exposed. Chip mocks that Bugzy may be abusing crack/cocaine, and that’s why he’s making these wild claims.

Chip is referring his bars in “Light Work” when he took shots at both Bugzy and Tinie:

Chip doesn’t have respect for the fake because in his opinion- rumor spreading and hiding behind a fake image isn’t considered lyrical attributes.

During bugzy’s “Wasteman” Diss he said:

How was it light work if it took five months?
Five months is a long time to be ghost

Chip completed writing, reciting, filming, and editing the video for this reply only 5 hours after Bugzy dropped his track. Apparently the 5 month wait for Chip’s reply with “Light Work” took too long for Bugzy, so Chip decided that 5 hours would be the perfect time limit to release this response to prove that this really is “light work”.

It’s also worth mentioning that Chip probably wouldn’t have responded with “Light Work” at all if Bugzy wouldn’t have sent subliminal’s on almost every track during that 5 months.

“You can’t pull wool over my eyes” is an expression that means you can’t deceive me, the origin refers to a wig made of wool to trick others that it’s your natural hair. Wool comes from the coating of a lamb, Chip plans to rid Bugzy of his wool so he can lyrically turn him into “lunch”. In a literal sense, you would have to look then reach around ones neck to pull wool over their eyes, but you can’t do that to Chip. Another way you could look at this is if you remove the wool wig (fake) from Bugzy, it will only expose a bare “dickhead”.
