Patrick Okogwu (born November 7, 1988), better known by his stage name Tinie Tempah and briefly by the mononym Tinie, is one of the most successful British rappers of all time, hailing from Plumstead, South East London.

Rising up through pirate radio and Channel U from the mid-2000s as a grime and hip-hop artist, he has formerly affiliated with various crews including Saskilla’s Nu Brand Flexxx and Bruza’s Aftershock Hooligans. After gaining some momentum with his breakthrough single “Wifey Riddim”, he went solo and set up his own label, Disturbing London, with his friend and business partner Dumi.

Over the course of his career, Tinie has had seven number one singles in the UK, including the massive hits “Pass Out”, “Written in the Stars” and “Not Letting Go”. To this day, he’s released three solo albums: Disc-Overy (2010), Demonstration (2013), and Youth (2017).

During his career, Tinie has also collaborated with a number of high-profile acts, including Emeli Sandé, Kelly Rowland, Wiz Khalifa, Ellie Goulding, Labrinth, 2 Chainz, Jess Glynne and Zara Larsson.
