Jess Glynne, born Jessica Hannah Glynne, is a singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom. In 2018, she became the first woman to achieve 7 number 1 hits on the UK singles chart, 5 of which came from her debut album. She currently holds the title of most number 1’s by a British female artist in the UK.

Her debut album I Cry When I Laugh was released in the August of 2015, which spawned singles “Hold My Hand,” “Real Love,” “Ain’t Got Far To Go,” “Take Me Home,” “Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself,” and “Right Here”.

She collaborated with Rudimental on “These Days”. This was followed by her singles “I’ll Be There”“ and “All I Am”. Her sophomore album Always In Between was released in October 2018.

After being silent for two years after the tragic death of a close friend, Jess released three singles in 2023. Including Silly Me, a pop ballad, What Do You Do, a House-influenced piece, and Friend of Mine, a pop anthem with production that pulls from drum-n-bass and vocal runs. These three singles are most likely part of Jess' unnamed third album, JG3. Some unreleased songs suspected to be on this album are Heaven and Promise Me. Despite her quiet period, these three singles (and the many more to come) now prove that Jess has once again firmly established herself in the music industry, stronger than ever.
