Toby Joseph Turner (born March 3, 1985), also known by his stage name Tobuscus, is an American Internet personality, actor, and musician. He is best known for his YouTube videos including vlogs, Let’s Plays and music.

In April 2016, Toby’s ex-girlfriend, April Fletcher, published a detailed account on Tumblr claiming he mentally and physically abused her, raped her, and drugged her. Another ex-girlfriend, Amelia Talon, and a former friend subsequently came forward, corroborating aspects of his alleged behavior regarding drug use and psychological toxicity. Toby vehemently denied all allegations. They never went to court, and these have never been proven or disproven; however, following the controversy, Toby’s career took a significant hit. He was dropped by major networks, production on his YouTube Red series was halted, and his roles in projects like The Angry Birds Movie were cut. He stepped away from content creation for a period before returning to a heavily diminished audience.

Toby now posts a radically different style of content, made up of AI-generated videos, songs with racist lyrics, mixes of both, and (often also racist) vlogs. These have performed significantly worse than his old content due to his heavily diminished audience.
