Josh entertains new viewers by making random comments and parodies that don’t make sense. At the same time, he keeps his older audience engaged by slipping references to his old videos into his new videos. Some of these inside jokes include “I don’t give a Chapstick,” and “the CD was under her desk.” They won’t automatically make sense to new audiences, but his older viewers appreciate that he remembers his four-year-old jokes.
