Demetri O'Neal Simms (born on December 26, 1989), commonly known as Meechy Darko or simply Meech, is an American rapper who was born and raised in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. As one-third of the psychedelic rap trio Flatbush Zombies, along with childhood friends Zombie Juice and Erick the Architect, Meech is one of the faces of psychedelic rap. His Jamaican heritage has been a significant influence on his upbringing and artistry.

Easily recognized by his snarling voice and unhinged delivery, Meech brings a raw, almost feral energy to every verse. His style is heavily influenced by psychedelic drugs such as LSD and psilocybin, as well as the macabre in all its forms—ranging from horror films to gore and real-life serial killers. His lyrics explore themes of death, consciousness, philosophy, religion, politics, and mental illness, tied together through vivid, grotesque, often horrorcore-like imagery. Meech blends these influences into a sound that is as trippy as it is menacing.

Throughout the 2010s, Flatbush Zombies carved out a lasting legacy as one of the most distinctive acts in underground rap, with Meech establishing himself as a formidable lyricist within the scene. After a decade of successful independent releases, the group parted ways, and in 2022, Meech signed a solo deal with Loma Vista Recordings, home to his close friend Denzel Curry. He released his debut solo album Gothic Luxury in 2022, followed by Doses in 2023. Two years later, Meech and Juice reunited as 2DEAD BOYZ to release a collaborative album while Erick continues to focus on his solo career.
