DOWI is Daniel Oliva’s musical project, with music heavily inspired by the obvious contrasts between Madrid, Brighton, and Gothenburg, the cities where he spent most of his youth. Notably, the indie pop album Discover revolves around the “boring Madrid summers in the last years of school”, with lyrics reworked from poems written in those teen years. DOWI’s upcoming work is more influenced by his experiences up north.
