beka grey (20) originates from the vibrant east coast of Aotearoa (New Zealand) – more specifically, the compact city of Gisborne. Despite growing up surrounded by sunbeams and subtropical environments, her music was never a reflection of this. Grey has been perceptive of her melancholy since early in her childhood. But by stumbling upon a passion for songwriting at a young age, she is able to contort the whirlwind of her emotions into an audible art form.

Formally going by ‘Beka Grace’ since early 2020, she converted to ‘beka grey’ to establish a new identity and sound – her debut album “BETULARIA” is the greatest example of this. All produced, written, directed and performed by her lonesome, beka grey’s catchy pop/hip-hop songs will inevitably be making an appearance in your playlists in 2025.
