Asal is a musician who is very underrated and currently has many releases. Asal released her first EP called “Missing Something” on August 2, 2024 that includes 8 songs, (2 in which were previous singles). She is filled with many talents as she incorporates her beautiful voice into many different genres. Asal has opened on tour with Artemas. Growing up in Iran, Asal lived in a musical household. Her mom sang, dad played the keyboard and Asal got a guitar for her 7th birthday. Asal moved to Vancouver only speaking Farsi and mostly listening to Persian music. Picking up English from school and being exposed to new music, Asal started to make original music and develop her sound. From her bedroom setup, the 22-year old infuses deep raw vocals with alternative hip-hop production. Asal has completed her first North American tour. With the momentum from releasing Headache and Liars & Players, Asal is building her own world and pushing the boundaries of alternative music. Her full name is Asal Karimzadeh.
