ACJayC is a South African writer (scriptwriter and novelist), music producer & rapper.

Growing up on various music genres (like alt-rock, EDM, ambient, and even video game soundtracks), ACJayC was bound to fuse many of these sounds into something he could call his own. It was with the discovery of trip hop/downtempo and alternative hip hop when he realized this multigenre fusion was possible. As a result, ACJayC took a leap of faith away from his humble boom bap beginnings – under an earlier moniker – and into more avant-garde escapades.

Creating unorthodox and atmospheric soundscapes, ACJayC is an abstract visionary and surrealist at heart.

His knack for fusing genres and tapping into niche styles make him all the more left-field. Rapping over experimental variants of psychedelia, alt-rock, industrial, lo-fi, and electronic music.
