A “wise guy” is slang for a member of the Mafia, a group that commits organized crime. 21 Savage has made it clear plenty of times that he has gang affiliations, so it’s possible he could have mob connections as well.

“The field” is slang for the streets, a common reference used in hip hop to describe the act of trapping. By “the field”, 21 Savage claims his gang is out dealing drugs.

Avianne and Co is a celebrity jeweler. Despite not having a deal with a major record label, 21 still makes enough money to afford their expensive pieces.

Travis owns a Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 in which he was seen having a minor accident.

The term “pull up” means to approach someone or to go somewhere. It usually alludes to a threat, meaning someone will drop to a location for a fight. Travis still plays with the title of the song as he is always “outside” roaming the streets in his Lamborghini.

21 Savage has expressed his hatred for sneak disses many times. On Meek Mill’s 2016 track, “Offended”, 21 raps a similar line:

In rap terminology, being “outside” can refer to being outside of the penal system (jail), or simply that you are outside on the streets thuggin'. In this hook, Travis is conveying two messages. One is that he and his team are all out of prison, and second message is that they are all out hustling on the streets and have no intention of going to jail anytime soon. They are going to stay outside and keep hustling by any means necessary. This is reinforced by his statement, “Ain’t goin' in.”

21 is recklessly driving on the road in his brand new, luxurious Bentley truck. The Bentley Bentayga (a Bentley truck model) is $200,000 and is something you would want to take care of, but that’s not how 21 rolls.

Mud is a slang term for Lean, a mixture of codeine with promethazine cough syrup, soda, and Jolly Rancher candies for extra flavor.

21 is often seen using Lean, whether it be during interviews, music videos, etc., so it’s understandable that he would become angry if he wasted some of his favorite beverage. The narcotic cough syrup that acts as the main ingredient is expensive as well. Spilling it is like losing money for users of the drug.

A few weeks before the release of Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, Travis Scott announced that his longtime bodyguard and personal friend Big Tony had passed away. His relationship can be seen in a series of Instagram posts after the event.

This could also refer to Travis being ready to end the life of anyone trying to creep on him, tying into the previous line.

Mixers are social events where people of similar interest come together to get acquainted.

Travis uses a bit of wordplay, as “mixes” could also be a mixed alcoholic drink (or Travis’s preference of lean, perhaps).

21 pulled up for a girl and is high on percocet. Percocets are an opium-derived pain killer and may also be called Perkies, Roxi’s, Blue Dynamite, Roxikotten and 512s.

21 stated in an interview with the Breakfast Club in 2016 that he has suffered from an addiction to Percs since he was given them at a hospital following being shot 6 times on his 21st birthday.

21 keeps a Tommy on him, but he isn’t talking about the luxurious Tommy Hilfiger brand. Instead, 21 is talking about a Thompson sub machine gun, a.k.a the “Tommy”.

Slaughter Gang is the crew 21 hangs with, and PDE stands for Paradise East, an apartment complex in Decatur, GA where 21’s cousin Young Nudy is from.

“10 bad bitches” is a reference to 21’s hit song “X” featuring Future.
