This was a bad place to hide
I'm about to get my guts pumped full of lead I'm terrified
I saw this kid in the back of the class with a look in his eyes
I should've warned the others now we're all about to die
This was a bad place to hide
I'm about to get my guts pumped full of lead I'm terrified
I saw this kid in the back of the class with a look in his eyes
I should've warned the others now we're all about to die
We watched him walk through the door
My heart stopped beating I nеver felt that much fear bеfore
Me and my friends ran for a place to hide
I pondered if these were the last moments of my life
It was right after lunchtime, the bell had just rung
Was on my way to 5th period when he loaded his gun
He had a black hoodie and ski mask with a cap that read Columbine
Time passed as I hid in the bathroom stall hoping he wouldn't find
Me
This was a bad place to hide
I'm about to get my guts pumped full of lead I'm terrified
I saw this kid in the back of the class with a look in his eyes
I should've warned the others now we're all about to die
This was a bad place to hide
I'm about to get my guts pumped full of lead I'm terrified
I saw this kid in the back of the class with a look in his eyes
I should've warned the others now we're all about to die
I sat and talked to myself, about if it was the end, that's when I heard
The bathroom door begin the bend but just then
I heard the sirens, followed by footsteps running away
I let out a sigh of relief because I knew I was okay
The cops shot the kid and that was the end of that day
I walked out of the stall, and then I opened the door
All I saw was puddles of blood and fallen soldiers on the floor
I walked out of the building to see all the crying mothers
Traumatized I was, along with all of the others
The lesson I learned was to never take life for granted
In case some angry crazy psychopath decides to end it
That was a bad place to hide
Didn't get my guts pumped full of lead, no longer terrified
That kid in the back of the class who had the look in his eyes
Is now gone, thank the lord for allowing us to survive
That was a bad place to hide
Didn't get my guts pumped full of lead, no longer terrified
That kid in the back of the class who had the look in his eyes
Is now gone, thank the lord for allowing us to survive
