[Verse 1]

I'm all about the honesty

So in my book I thought that I ought to be

The first page of my book is a short autobiography

About 'Verb and how I got to be it's heard melodically

Here goes the first verse, Stethoscope first start the beat

I started to breathe 81, April 12th of the month

At 10 o' clock a spank from the doc, and I was handed to moms

I cried my first rhyme to open the lungs

Out of the waiting room I heard my pop's scream "I hope it's a son"

Skip a couple of paragraphs my teenage life was empty

My book and I got mighty friendly through diary entries

It helped me to express myself when I cried it let me

See those scratched out lines that's where I tried to emcee

Further down the page 16 - 17 somewhere around that age

On the 17th of March I even wrote down the date

That's when the ProVerb emcee in me came out the cage

I sharpened my skill till I got down with Rage

Now it's 2 double 0 5 who can touch the Pro's style

None of them barely move me like a school bus with no driver

Who can bust a flow liver

And who got enough rhymes to be your entire crew ghost writer

The provider grow wiser than a story told by an old timer

Burning up the charts with more fire

Today's reading is taken from the book of ProVerb Chapter 1 Verse 1...
