My label is wearing, collectively staring

At a room full of others subconsciously comparing

That the caps and cans, and with my wand for hands

I go unheard, unnoticed, but to merely understand

Why is my casket covered in

Plastic

Been eating human food since you first asked it

Hell ain't an option when you're adopted

By everything and everyone

A constant state of shock and stun

Since you came through, got the essence of your life

And I'll never wake up to your pretty face

Or the warm floor or the side of my bed

Banging on the door

That leads to my mind

So you're useless, and it's taken me a while

And you may say the same, the people use me all the time

Don't look at me like I look at me, just like a generation of slaves

Tied to their blades while staring at the animals that slap past their face

Be sure to polish, little bug

Life isn't quite the same

Truck, yeah, it's obvious we're not the same, yeah

It's time for me to go to bed

I take showers only to feel wet

But the water stops coming, oh no

Yeah, the water stops coming again

You won't understand the feeling of loss, and I guess I won't either

I'll never know the cost

And it's sad before we're not the same, though

You have thoughts, and I get the memos

Talk to me, oh talk to me

It's what you have, it's what I need

Oh talk to me, yeah, talk to me

It's what you have, just plant the seed

Every time I close my eyes

Every speck of light I see, yeah

They talk to me, they talk to me

Just talk to me

Yeah, every time I close my eyes

Every speck of light I see, yeah

They talk to me, they talk to me

Just talk to me, just talk to me
