Clandestine desires

An angel lost it's battle

Right by my side

Vision strain

Rid of the troubles & anguish from my past

Life lessons where I resided within my own ego

Taught me a fire of an inner God I could blaze within my heart

The fire spread and spread

Cauterising the numbness of my pain

And eventually blackened a garden I perceived as immortal

Was I too far?

Or unaware?

Of a first impression in the same of sensation

There was a time and a saying

That after both worlds collided post-battle

The merciless ruler showed acceptance

Accepted to be the very thing that defeated it

In another life it wanted to be the angel that descends

But it died alone and scared

I won’t take that ending

I won’t surrender

I betrayed my constitution and payed the price for it

And while I await for the day we reunite
