Cortez Young (born February 22, 2000), better known as Zotiyac (stylized as ZOTiYAC), is an American rapper, songwriter, and lyricist from Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and then moved out to Vegas at the young age of 16 to pursue his rap career.

He is the founder of Crow Life, alongside his long-time best friend Heist. Zotiyac was once affiliated with the rap collective Midnight Society, first joining in 2016, and then leaving in mid 2017.

In 2017, ZOTiYAC was notable for his hardcore screamo music, ranging from trap metal, emo rap and horrorcore. On March 8, his first and only trap metal inspired mixtape CONTAMINATED was released, featuring songs like “INSOMNIA” and “FINNESONAL,” which have become the most popular tracks on the tape.

In early 2018, ZOTiYAC would decide to quit making music in the trap metal genre, due to a intense disinterest of it as a whole. He would go on to experiment in genres such as hip-hop, drill, and trap.

Some of Zotiyac’s most popular tracks are 2018’s drill inspired “Walk Upz (Freestyle,” 2017’s “1” by Yung Bambi, which became famous due to a trend on TikTok, and 2020’s “Cream” with over 10 million streams on Spotify.
