ZellHarper is the name used when Tay Harper and King Zell came together to make music. ZellHarper is a rap duo consisting of rappers King Zell and Tay Harper. Tay found his calling as a rapper at the young age of 13, and King Zell felt that he always wanted to create rap as he has always found interest in an eclectic mix of genres throughout his life. Some of Tay’s largest influences on his music were Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and A$AP Rocky, while Zell’s influences were Chief Keef, A$AP, and Lil Uzi. Both rappers grew up in the Baltimore area, Tay being from all over East Baltimore and Zell being from NorthEast Baltimore. Both rappers express that their upbringing here didn’t particularly influence their musical style, however they did gain a following around the area when they started creating music.
