ZayBang
AKA: Eizayah Hopkins, Eizayah Earl Hopkins
Eizayah Earl Hopkins, known as ZayBang (born March 16, 1996) is an American recording artist from San Francisco, CA.
He was first pushed to rap by his close friend and collaborator, Lil Bean, after getting out of prison in 2019. Since then ZayBang has signed a deal with EMPIRE and released multiple popular songs and albums.
“Out of the former Geneva Towers neighborhood in the Visitacion Valley area of SF, ZayBang represents some of the city’s angst and indomitable spirit. Bringing world-weary raps infused with hood nihilism and a sense of despondency, he’s endured family tragedies, prison time, and the self-medication that many use to numb the pain. Zay also represents the attitude and confidence so necessary when you come from a rough place. He doesn’t let us forget it; his street tales are direct, evocative, and real.” – Jeff Weiss
