Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Zahraa is an alternative pop artist who is unique, sultry, and powerful. Her fascinating vocals, lyrical abilities, and exuberant persona have allowed her to steal the attention of anyone who hears her sing. At the age of 18, she decided to follow her dream of becoming an artist and move to Los Angeles. Her relationship with music is the result of her deep Moroccan roots and her growing fascination with R&B, Soul, and Pop music. Growing up, she was influenced by icons such as Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, and Beyoncé, as well as renowned Arab and French singers. Standing on the shoulders of musical giants, she was able to expand her singing chops while creating her own memorable style. She describes her sound as “an eclectic mix of pop/rnb realness with a touch of Eastern flare.”
