Jayshawn Vandermark, known professionally as Yung Smiley, is an American rapper and singer from Upstate New York. He is best known for his viral song “Saks,” which gained traction on TikTok in 2021. The song has three additional installments, including a remix featuring Tana.

Smiley first gained attention in 2021 after posting a series of TikToks performing “Saks” in various cemeteries and memorial sites. The videos quickly went viral and sparked a trend of users performing different songs in front of random objects or landmarks.

Later that year, Smiley joined KA$HWAYZ, a collective founded by KA$HDAMI, which also included artists such as Tana and ilyfall.

On Christmas 2021, Smiley released the EP Merry Kashwayz, which featured the track “Kompanion” with KA$HDAMI.

In total he has released 4 projects; However, only 2 songs from Merry Kashwayz and The Lone Ranger are available on major streaming platforms.
