『ユイカ』(Yuika) (born January 12, 2005) is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She started in November 2019 by uploading her acoustic guitar plays of her covers and the original songs she wrote on TikTok.

Yuika officially debuted with “好きだから。(Sukidakara).” on June 27, 2021. The track reached #1 on Spotify’s Viral Charts in Taiwan, Hong Kong Thailand, and Russia. It also became a viral hit among teens on TikTok and was selected as the #1 “恋したくなるラブソング” (Love song that makes you want to fall in love) by over 20,000 teenagers. The song was first teased on her TikTok in March 2021.

Following her hit debut single, Yuika released her second single “そばにいて。(Soba ni Ite.),” in October 2021. The song served as the theme song for TikTok TOHO Film Festival 2021 夏、ふたり (Natsu Futari).

In March 2022, Yuika released her third single “恋泥棒。(Koi Dorobou.),” which quickly gained popularity, reaching the Top 10 on TikTok’s Trending Songs chart and landing a spot on the Spotify Japan Viral 50. The following month, she collaborated with Arekun on the single “あのね。(Anone.).” Then, in May 2022, Yuika released “17さいのうた。(Seventeen’s Song)” and announced a hiatus to focus on preparing for her university entrance exam.

Yuika’s nine-month hiatus ended with the release of “序章。(Prologue.)” in March 2023, followed by McDonald’s commercial song, “シャカシャカポテト® (Shaka Shaka Potato®).” She was also featured on Soshina’s “夕さりのカノン (Evening Canon)”, and later released “運命の人 (The One)” and “スノードーム (Snow Globe).”

On January 12, 2024, Yuika celebrated her birthday with a live broadcast on her YouTube channel, where she announced her major label debut with Universal Music Japan and the upcoming release of her first album. She also revealed details of her first live concert, Yuika: 1st LIVE “Agapanthus,” held at KT Zepp Yokohama in June 2024.

Yuika released her first album, 紺色に憧れて (Longing for Navy Blue), on June 14, 2024, which includes her past singles as well as five new tracks. A month later, she was featured on ニャンちゅうオールスターズ (Nyanchu All Stars)’s “ココロウチュウ (Kokorouchu)” alongside singer-songwriter, imase.

In late 2024, Yuika released the theme song “僕らしさ (Who I Am),” for the anime series 妖怪学校の先生はじめました！(A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!). The singer also announced her 2 live concerts in 2025, Sweet Alyssum in Japan, and Yuika: 1st LIVE in SEOUL & TAIPEI, her first overseas live concert.
