AKA: Kenneth Bailey, Kenneth E. Bailey, Kenneth Edward Bailey

Kenneth Edward Bailey (3/28/1986 – 3/28/2025) better known as Young Scooter, was an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. In 2012, Scooter made waves in the music scene by being one of the inaugural artists to join Freebandz, the record label founded by his childhood friend Future. The subsequent year, he further solidified his presence in the industry by co-signing with Brick Squad Monopoly, a label under the umbrella of Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records, led by Waka Flocka Flame.

His breakthrough mixtape Street Lottery (2012), featuring the hit single “Colombia,” cemented his position in the rap game, while his 2018 guest appearance on Future and Juice WRLD’s “Jet Lag” earned him a spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Known for his relentless hustle and ties to some of Atlanta’s most influential figures, Young Scooter was respected for his unique voice and contributions to trap music in general.

On March 28th, 2025, Atlanta Police Department would get a call from a neighbor informing that a lady was being dragged in a house by two male suspects. When police arrived, one of them would stay in the house while the other (Young Scooter) would start running, hopping two backyard fences before being stabbed in the artery of his leg, he was helped by police and taken to the hospital where he would later succumb to his injuries.
