Xasachi closes out First Angel with “2016,” a track steeped in nostalgia and subtle homage. The chorus nods to Young Thug’s iconic run that year, blending sentimentality with swagger. In the verse, Xasachi reflects on a past relationship a poignant jab wrapped in personal growth.

The production on “2016” stands out as the most polished on the EP, in contrast to the chaotic energy of “Wishmaster.” Midway through the track, Xasachi shifts into a country-tinged delivery, reminiscent of Young Thug’s Beautiful Thugger Girls and even Lil Wayne’s Rebirth—a fusion of rap, pop, and twang that feels both experimental and authentic.
