WSTR is an English pop-punk band from Liverpool, United Kingdom.

The band was initially named “Waster” when a group of the same name in Canada issued a cease and desist in 2015. Eventually, the band opted to remove the vowels to have a similar name without infringing on copyright.

In the 10 years the band has been active for, they have been through a myriad of lineup changes leaving Sammy Clifford and Alex Tobijanski the only original members left. During their time, they have been signed to No Sleep Records, Hopeless Records and as of 2021, Life or Death Records
