WMD is an electronic music project made by Michael Erickson. Based in Portland, Oregon, the project mainly focuses on more ambient and soothing sounds. It is most known for the 2014 song “Ficus”. “Ficus” was later remixed by hisohkah in 2017 and re-named “school rooftop”, where it went on to gain popularity on TikTok and other social media apps.
