VJDAMUSICMAN is an Indian-American singer/songwriter who was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina.

His music career started long before independently creating music under his alias. He started music with his younger brother under the name JagzBros. This helped him to try out and become better at Hip-Hop and Rap.

He later decided in 2018 to go under the alias, VJDAMUSICMAN and started creating music on YouTube which helped him to explore song writing and different genres such as Pop.
He’d use beats off YouTube and wrote/recorded using GarageBand.

He released his debut album in 2020, Escape The Retrograde and later released his second album, KINKS & TRAUMA in 2021.
