Violent Remark
AKA: VRKILLEDTHIS, Kenneth Isaac Hernandez, S1EG3 PuRP, Kenneth Hernandez, 666RV, VR666
Kenneth Isaac Hernandez (born May 31, 2003), better known by his stage name Violent Remark, is an American recording artist, producer, and audio engineer residing from Connecticut.
Hernandez began his career, starting off as a YouTuber, back in 2013, under the name, KennethH5, making gameplay videos. At the age of 10, he started getting into rap, where he began making parody music. As the years went by, he started to get less interested in making parody music and gameplay videos, which resulted in him stopping altogether and started to venture off making official music.
He began making official music, still under the stage name as KennethH5, back in 2016, and made his first album, titled THE WORST ALBUM, released around mid-2017. The album was later reworked and then eventually taken down off SoundCloud in 2018 to 2019, due to Hernandez wanting to rebrand himself.
In 2018, Hernandez changed his stage name to S1EG3 PuRP. In the same year, him and two of his closest friends online, S1lverballer and Aesxp, formed a now-defunct group/label, known as S1EG3CL4N. It lasted throughout the majority of 2018, until the group disbanded at the ladder end of the year, as the group’s official account got taken down mysteriously on SoundCloud, with all of the group’s tracks getting removed. The group later released a compilation album, titled THE S1EG3CL4N CL4SSICS, on February 16, 2020, however it got quickly taken down. Around in 2019, Hernandez had changed his name, once again, to Violent Remark, abandoning the S1EG3 PuRP name after the disbandment of S1EG3CL4N.
After the name change, Violent Remark continued to post a slew of singles off his SoundCloud page throughout 2019 and 2020, without dropping a full-length project. In 2021, Hernandez has released two projects. Both being DOUBLE PACK in late January 2021 and The Ballad of Violent Remark in late May 2021. Since then, Violent Remark took a long hiatus and has not uploaded a song throughout the rest of that year.
During the first half of 2022, Violent Remark had been very quiet on dropping new music, despite doing small features. However, that has changed, as on June 24, 2022, Violent Remark released his third EP, The Ballad of Violent Remark 2. On August 3, 2022, under the persona VRKILLEDTHIS, he released a surprise mixtape, titled THE BANDLAB TAPE exclusively through BandLab.
In October 2022, Violent Remark took upon his hands to release a new song everyday of the month. During October, Violent Remark released three new projects from each of his personas: the long-awaited Violent Remark: The Throwaways on October 10, Gone for the Holidays on October 20 (as 666RV), and SELF MADE on October 30 (as VRKILLEDTHIS). Violent Remark also released the TRIPLE PACK compilation album on Halloween night, consisting of three additional tracks from each project, alongside combining the three projects previously released that month.
Following the release of all those projects, on November 13, 2022, Violent Remark released the single “ART.” He then stated in an Instagram story that “ART” would be the final release from him in 2022, alongside announcing that “Phase 0” would begin in 2023, leading up to his upcoming mixtape, The Antisocial Experiment.
After keeping quiet on dropping music for some time, on March 31, 2023, Violent Remark released the PRELUDE EP, consisting of three tracks recorded during The Antisocial Experiment sessions, kicking off “Phase 0” of the project. Since then, Violent Remark has kept silent about his releases, up until October 31, 2023, where he released his fifth EP, The Ballad of Violent Remark 3: Before The Antisocial Experiment, serving as the second prelude to The Antisocial Experiment. The official deluxe was then released on January 10, 2024 without warning, consisting of two additional tracks, the latter being the song “INTO” featuring LEXIE, which immediately gained attention through SoundCloud.
Although most of the first half was quiet for Violent Remark, as he was working on the second deluxe version to The Ballad of Violent Remark 3, on May 30, 2024, Violent Remark would dip his toes into the VRKILLEDTHIS persona once again to release The BandLab Tape 2 to hold fans over for the second deluxe, which was then release the next day on his birthday. After keeping quiet with releases following its release, on October 31, 2024, Violent Remark released a surprise EP titled maybe one day.
Entering into 2025, under the persona VRKILLEDTHIS, he would release a new EP titled B4MRDRSZN, to which it included seven new songs recorded for his upcoming mixtape, MRDR SZN, expected to be released sometime this year. The controversial artwork to B4MRDRSZN would end up terminating Violent Remark’s YouTube channel, resulting in him to make a new channel and re-uploading his older songs onto there for the foreseeable future.
On May 31, 2025, Violent Remark would go onto release two projects for his birthday: VR666’s MENTAL and 666RV’s story of my life as it is now. VRKILLEDTHIS' The Day Before MRDR was originally going to be apart of the release, but was unable to be released in time. All of these projects are grouped together for Violent Remark’s next release, Violent Remark: The Throwaways 2, which was also originally going to be released on May 31, but also missed the release day, due to the delay of The Day Before MRDR.
On October 31, 2025 on Halloween night, Violent Remark would release FREE THE SIX, to which it would include features such as nexxx and LEXIE. It would also reveal that Violent Remark joined RAYBOMB RECORDS. A deluxe version would then be released on November 28, 2025, consisting of an additional three tracks.
Starting on December 1, 2025, Violent Remark started a new series titled 25 DAYS OF MRDR, under the VRKILLEDTHIS persona, where he would be releasing a new song up until Christmas day. He began the series with the release of the song “NINJAGO.” Wrapping up the year, Violent Remark would release THE NEW NORMAL on New Years Eve, which has been in the works for over two years.
Hernandez also has two alternate personas, one going under the stage name 666RV and the other going under the stage name VRKILLEDTHIS. According to a BandLab post, Violent Remark gave a statement about the personas, stating quote:
vr666 is heavy me
666rv is depression me
vrkilledthis is hype me
666RV is the more tamer side of Violent Remark, leaning towards more on sad music. Although first started as a positive rapper, preaching to positivity with the song “SWITCHIN' SIDES,” the persona then led to more depressed music with the song “my thoughts.” This would end up leading up to his debut project, Gone for the Holidays.
VRKILLEDTHIS is the underground side of Violent Remark, leaning towards a mix of underground and mainstream sound. The persona made his debut with the song “GO HARD FREESTYLE,” to which he would continue on up until the release of his debut mixtape, SELF MADE. VRKILLEDTHIS would then release The BandLab Tape 2 on May 30, 2024 as a follow up to SELF MADE.
Hernandez also owns an independent label, known as There is No Vengeance. He has since signed two artists to his label, both of which are his closest friends. Those being Iceßurg and Slick Nugget, however Slick Nugget has since left the label.
