Viama (real name Abdessamad Azougarh, born December 9, 2000, in Meknes, Morocco) is an independent rapper and experimental artist. He began releasing lo-fi and indie music in 2018, later dropping his Midnight Coffee EP in December 2024 on SoundCloud and YouTube.

In 2024, Abdessamad transitioned into rap and adopted the stage name Viama, debuting with the single À Bientôt. Through 2025 he released several singles, including Bonne Question (Freestyle), Very Viama Di!, and Sata Satan, leading to his first mini-album Manifestewni Makansktch (“Manifest Me, Motormouth”).

Viama works independently via BandLab, handling his own recording, mixing, and mastering while sourcing instrumentals from free-to-use YouTube beats (credited accordingly). Influenced by Kendrick Lamar and Pink Floyd, his music fuses underground hip-hop, jazzy textures, and psychedelic experimentation.
