Vettche is a rising indie-pop band from Sandnes/Stavanger, Norway. The group was formed in 2019 when Øyvind Brandal, Vegar Urstad and Ådne Rossavik came together to write their first song, “Dugnad.” What began as a light-hearted project quickly developed into something more serious as their sound matured and a new member joined, bassist Lars Dahle in 2021. With catchy melodies and lyrics that balance everyday feelings with youthful energy, Vettche soon gained attention in the Norwegian music scene.

Their breakthrough came with the single “Blåfarga øyne”, followed by “Redd meg”, which earned them the title of “Månedens Urørt” (Artist of the Month) on NRK P3 in June 2022. Known for their energetic live shows and down-to-earth vibe as a group of friends as much as a band, Vettche has played to growing crowds and even opened the festival Vaulen Open Air to critical acclaim. Today, they are described as a fresh and playful voice in Norwegian pop, combining indie charm with a distinctly local character.
