Jordan Sanna (born February 24, 2009), professionally known as vax (formerly vaxfr), is an American recording artist and producer from West Palm Beach, Florida. He is best known for his songwriting and distinctive sound, as well as collaborating with artists such as sevenk and slayr.

In a 2026 interview with underground content creator notmarkie, vax explained how his stage name originated:

I used to be in this Fortnite team with my friend… We had an editor named Zexrow, and right before he quit he was like, ‘Yo, I’m changing my name.’ I was like, ‘Damn, lowkey I need a new name.’ He told me to take his old one, so I changed ‘Zexrow’ to ‘Vaxro.’ I started dropping music under ‘Vaxrofr,’ then changed it to ‘Vax for real,’ and eventually shortened it to just ‘Vax

vax began recording music at the age of 12. He had begun recording from being inspired by his brother, which he revealed in an interview with notmarkie. Despite early challenges, he developed his sound independently and learned how to produce using FL Studio. Growing up, he was influenced by a mix of genres, drawing inspiration from artists such as SoFaygo and Lil Uzi Vert.

Entering into summer 2026, vax released his debut album, Blue Dawn, with sevenk and slayr as the only two guest features.
