Vanityz is a Hip Hop Artist who’s from Victorville, California. He is the head of Destructive Rhythm other known as DR. DR is basically a squad with two sides, One side is the side made for friends/promoters and the other side is the actually like the Entertainment side where the editors and musicians are, we just call it a group/squad cause there’s people in DR who aren’t musicians.
In 2015, Vanityz released his first mixtape, he’s has mixtape’s done before that one but he scrapped them since he wasn’t grateful with how they came out. Since then he released another mixtapes and a couple singles.
Vanityz was really influenced by a Artist named Logic, because Logic was a very popular rapper in the gaming community and Vanityz used to really be into Call of Duty, But has stopped over time and since he heard of Logic it led to him getting into Nas and Big L, Big L was the one who inspired him the most cause of his witty street style lyrics and extraordinary word play.
Vanityz got into music in a very different way than what you would expect, when he was 14 he would argue with his sister everyday non-stop and his mother always knew he was responsible and could hold his own so since he couldn’t get along with his sister at all his mom got him his own apartment and while he was in the apartment he used to get into his feelings very often and one day he questioned his self on where his dad was and why he left and he was very depressed at the time and he didn’t know how to get all of the depression out of his system, since he used to a lot of Logic’s music back then he used to say “maybe I can write and it’ll make things better”, in which it did and after he overcame his depression he kept on rapping because it was a way he could express himself and over that time he’s progressed tremendously and now he produces and designs his own covers.
