Valencia Grace
Valencia Grace (born Valencia Sanchez Esposti on June 24, 2003) is a British singer-songwriter known for her emotionally raw lyricism and stripped-back, soul-inflected pop sound. Born in Oxford, England, she spent parts of her early life in the UK, United States, and Malaysia before settling in Dorset. She began writing songs at age 14, and during the COVID-19 lockdowns, she used the isolation to hone her craft, developing a songwriting style characterized by confessional storytelling and expressive vocal delivery.
Grace first gained a following by posting original songs and covers on TikTok, where she amassed over two million followers. Her viral presence led to a deal with Ministry of Sound and Columbia Records. She released her debut single “It Was You” in April 2022, followed by tracks like “Goodbye,” “Final Dance,” and “There I Said It.” In March 2024, she released her debut EP, Roses, a collection of songs written between the ages of 16 and 19, showcasing themes of heartbreak, longing, and self-examination.
