Urael Blackshear (better known by his stage name UraelB) grew up all over South Central Los Angeles, but hails Inglewood specifically to be where he represents. As a literal Good kid in a Mad City, the 23 year old Hip-Hop emcee intertwined his street knowledge with his passion for poetry and started writing raps at the age of 13. By 17 years old, he began his transition from a devout athlete into a dedicated artist, starting his own Independent Music Collective & Brand: Respect The Real (RTR) in honor of his grandmother. To date, UraelB has 25 records out and numerous freestyles. His debut album “DemiGod” released in 2020, culminating a four year musical growth spurt. This same year, he would stack up writing credits and features with many artists including world renowned composer and trumpet player Dontae Winslow, as well as land vocal performances on the 29th season of the classic TV show, Dancing With The Stars, working alongside musical director Ray Chew, and Hip-Hop icon Nelly.
