Jalen (Born on June 21, 1999) from Newport News, Virginia is an independent and emerging artist who’s thriving to create new and innovative music each day. He specializes in areas of rap and hip-hop music as he assumes the professions of a singer and a rapper. Our all arounder artist started to develop interest at an early age and started making music in 2019, shortly after he released his first single “Aint been the same” in 2020.

Our artist came up with his unique name himself, it was back in middle school when he always felt supreme as he would push everything towards an extra mile. He goes by the name “$upremejaee” for his audience to love and remember him. He describes his music as something you can relate to, he wants to create music that makes people feel that they are not alone. He expresses his feelings through the versatility in his tunes by giving everyone a reason to ponder over the powerful lyrics. All in all, he aims to give out vibes and meaningful lyrics at the same time.

Every artist has a creative process, $upremejaee goes through a rather distinctive process of his own. He just listens to the beats and once he finds the right beat to his hook, it just comes to him as naturally as possible. He then starts writing the flow that he has maintained and soon, establishes a full-fledged song that the public adores and goes gaga over.

Our artist grew up as a rebel, he did what he wanted to do no matter what anyone told him. He has not seen it easy as he had his fair share of enemies who wanted to kill him, with being evicted several times and much more. Music was one thing that kept growing for him, into a passion that kept him sane throughout the worst time of his life. He would always freestyle on beats and come up with his own beats. He’s currently in the navy trying to build up his resume in the working field to give back to the community in one way or another.

$upremejaee drew his inspiration from a studio session in Seattle, that was the moment that sparked a new love language for music in him. He took off and never stopped ever since to create new beats and experiment with his love for music.
