Ulcerate is a technical death metal band known for their atmospheric and often dissonant style of extreme metal. The band was formed in 2000 in Auckland, New Zealand by members Jamie Saint Merat and Michael Hoggard, along with former vocalist Mark Seeney.

The current lineup consists of drummer Jamie Saint Merat, guitarist Michael Hoggard, and bassist/vocalist Paul Kelland.
