Tyler Smith, mostly known by the stage name ‘tylerhateslife’ is an American Christian Rapper. Most of his songs heavily embody Christian values, and often talk about his personal life experiences, such as his mother’s suicide, his relationship with Jesus and his wife, and his own mental health. After releasing a string of singles and EP’s over the course of 3 years, Tyler released his self-titled debut album, which featured big successes, such as ‘mental health.’, ‘the real thicc shady.’ and ‘in my head.’.

Tyler was on track to release their sophomore album, as there was another collection of singles released, and the album was on track for release in September 2024, however, due to the unexpected death of Tyler on August 13th, 2024, the album was never released. Tyler’s 2nd album, ‘MENTAL HEALTH.’, was released posthumously on September 12th, 2025.
