Bertie Ruiz, commonly known by his stage name and internet alias tuv, is a Hispanic YouTuber, singer-songwriter and rapper.

On the YouTube platform, tuv is best known for his documentary style videos on morbid and dark topics. He gained massive popularity uploading the video “The Darkest TikTok Iceberg” and gaining recognition by Cr1TiKaL, a fellow YouTuber and musician part of the musical duo The Gentle Men.

After gaining a loyal audience on YouTube, tuv decided to release his first single, “cherry soda” on February 24, 2022.

His debut album, ear candy, was released on January 26, 2023, almost a year after his musical debut. A week later, tuv released a SoundCloud exclusive project of songs made for ear candy that didn’t make the final tracklist.

On June 23, 2023, tuv released the extended-play bloom.. The project marked a stylistic shift for tuv, as he announced that it would be his last hyperpop release.

tuv released his sophmore studio album, stop loving me! on August 18, 2023, with the deluxe edition being released on September 29. The album is heavily influenced by rock music, specifically by albums like Twin Fantasy by Car Seat Headrest.

His second extended-play, scaredycat.zip, was released on October 20, 2023.

In January 2024, tuv released two SoundCloud exclusive projects, SoundCloud Exclusives and ear candy 1.5, the latter being a semi-sequel to his debut studio album, released on the album’s one year anniversary.

His first self-proclaimed mixtape, DREAMCATCHER was released in two parts: the first part was released on July 12, 2024 and the full mixtape was released 14 days later. The record was supported by three singles: “HACHIKŌ”, “HONEY,” and “BABYDOLL”.

On February 4th 2026, tuv announced his 3rd studio album, DUMMY, through a mysterious twitch stream titled “HELP_ME” with him in a crash dummy costume whilst reversed snippets played throughout the stream. No release date has been given but he has been teasing his ARG, @testdummylovesyou, over on Instagram.
