But he’s never been just a singer. He’s a director, an actor, an animator, and now—a solo artist with teeth.

In 2025, Tunde dropped Thee Black Boltz, a raw, genre-melting debut solo album via Sub Pop. It’s pulsing with synth-pop swells, punk-funk grooves, and sharp edges of grief and joy. Tracks like “ILY” cut deep—dedicated to his late sister—and the whole project feels like Tunde stepping fully into his own lane, no brakes.

He’s also been on the big screen (Rachel Getting Married, Twisters), voiced cartoon chaos (Adventure Time, Strange Planet), and even sculpted violence in clay as an animator on Celebrity Deathmatch.
