Truce Wayne is one of many talented young artists out of Iowa. He began writing poetry and short stories in school, which allowed him to open up and write more personally about his own life through song lyrics. The Des Moines native released his first project at the age of 16 under the name “Young Purpose”. This name would later be shortened to “Purpose”, before completely changing to “Truce Wayne”, a name with a deeper meaning than just his love for DC Comics' iconic “Batman” character. Truce expresses his frustration and passion through his music, detailing life experiences and obstacles he’s had to overcome, through love, death, and trust.
