Tropes (born October 21, 2003) is a recording artist and producer from California. They are a part of collectives PlanetZero and graveem1nd.

They began making music on Audacity—a free audio editor and recording software—under a different, unknown name. The Tropes project was created in June 2020. Since then, they have collaborated with other popular artists associated with the “hyperpop” scene such as Pitfall, saturn, lieu and more.
