TRiCK DiCE

TRiCK DiCE is an indie collective, created in Auburn, AL by its founder Gerrit Notch alongside his close friend & fellow musician Thomas Averill. In the beginning, both Notch & Averill just wanted an outlet for local musicians to contribute to a project that would represent the Auburn DIY scene in a unique light: showcasing the incredible talents of the producers who lived within it.

This eventually led to the group’s debut project, an instrumental beat tape titled ₩hale Action. After the release of ₩hale Action, Notch envisioned a larger creative concept, instead of just wanting to have a compilation serve as a functional playlist. A week before ₩hale Action hit streaming, he had already conjured up an idea for a new album he would later title Shattered Stilettos. The project was the collectives first studio album, and instead of focusing on a similar sound, Notch made it his mission to explore a new genre of music: electronic. Since then, Notch has made it his mantra to have every TRiCK DiCE project sonically different from the next, displaying the true longevity of up and coming artists.
