Traffik Island is the project of the chameleonic Zak Olsen (ORB, Frowning Clouds, Hierophants). Beginning as bedroom recordings, Traffik’ has been honed in the venues of Geelong and Melbourne.

Appearing on lineups alongside such contemporaries as Montero and Sonny & The Sunsets, both solo and supported by his band (Jack Kong, Myles Cody, and Jesse Williams). Olsen’s songwriting palette is broad and patient, all the while punctuated with fascinating samples and tasty percussion – a sonic cleverness that encapsulates the Zak Olsen sound.
