David Scammell (Born June 4), known professionally by his stage name Toogla, is an Australian singer-songwriter born and raised in Melbourne, Australia.

Toogla created his YouTube channel on January 20, 2018, but started uploading music in mid-2019 when he began releasing covers of songs from well-known artists and bands heavily popularized by fans, such as Melanie Martinez, Ed Sheeran, My Chemical Romance, ​twenty one pilots, etc.

After months of releasing covers on his channel, Toogla released his debut single, “Stupid Boy,” on September 15, 2020, which was followed up with two singles, “Bubblegum” and “Toy Box,” which was released in October 2020. These singles would soon be additionally released on his debut extended play, Stupid Boy, released November 20, 2020.
