Tommy Wright III (born May 6, 1976) is a rapper, DJ, actor, and producer from Memphis, Tennessee, known for his raw, lo-fi sound, rapid-fire flow, and his eerie, self-produced beats.

Coming up in the early ‘90s, Tommy built a cult following with underground tapes, like Ashes 2 Ashes, Dust 2 Dust and Runnin-N-Gunnin, blending hard-hitting storytelling with haunting production. As a key figure in the underground Memphis rap scene, his style helped shape the sound of modern trap, crunk, and phonk. Despite staying independent and largely off the mainstream radar, his influence has only grown over the years, with new generations discovering his music and paying homage to his signature sound—mostly by sampling his work.
