Tokes is a duo artist from Okotoks Alberta, up in Canada. They have been making music for about 1 year now and have fell in love with it since. The duo both grew up extremely musical their entire lives, but never took the step to actually create and distribute music until now. Eric grew up mostly on hard rock music, metal music, and eventually moved into some hip-hop. Connor grew up mainly on pop music, and some alternative rock. They have managed to combine Their music tastes and create Tokes, which stems out into many different genres of hip hop. The two have created more melodic hip hop, more hype melodic music, very aggressive in your face rap, and are mixing all of those genres into their music. They come from a small city with only 30 000 people and no music scene at all, so their main goal is to create a name for their city, and themselves.
