“I can only aspire to be as graceful yet focused and ferocious as the jaguar. I’m the tiny jaguar,” Jag offers as an alternate, moniker meaning from the acronym JAG being her initials. Although born and raised for years in Detroit, from an early age Jag pursued academy dance in a neighboring suburb and spent her summer’s on the farm in west Kentucky. Equipped with a spectrum of influences, musically ranging from TLC to Limp Bizkit, a young Tiny Jag began writing with music in mind during her early middle school years. Many moons later, Jag’s hybrid sound today defines a flirtatious relationship between melodic rap and avant-pop.
