Tilian, also known as Tilian Pearson, is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer born in Clearwater, Florida on July 12, 1987.

He is best known as the former clean vocalist of post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance and the co-founder of Tampa-based prog-rock band Tides of Man.

In 2025, Tilian announced his new band, Dead Air Divine, which he teased in 2024 after his departure from Dance Gavin Dance. He is joined by Anup Sastry, Lee McKinney, James Hewitt and Matt Malpass, who has collaborated on Pearson’s solo releases alongside Dance Gavin Dance’s “Acceptance Speech”.
