すりぃ (THREEE)
AKA: すりぃ (Three), すりぃ (Surii), 3 (Vocaloid)
Born in Osaka, Japan on September 28, 1994, Surii (すりぃ), also known as THREEE or 3, is a Japanese Vocaloid producer and singer-songwriter. He is also a member of the rock band Aooo, and has written and produced music for various artists, including Ado.
Surii is known for his contributions to the Vocaloid scene, with notable works including “テレキャスタービーボーイ (Telecaster B-Boy)”, “エゴロック (Ego Rock)”, “ジャンキーナイトタウンオーケストラ (Junky Night Town Orchestra)”, and “ラヴィ (Lavie)”. He primarily uses VOCALOID software featuring voicebanks such as Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, and Hatsune Miku. Over time, his songs became more personal, leading him to transition to using his own vocals.
Surii moved to from Osaka to Tokyo in 2017 to pursue a career as a professional composer. He debuted as a Vocaloid producer on March 3, 2018, with the release of “空中分解 (Aerial Breakup)”, intentionally released on the third day of the third month, as a nod to his name—since “Surii” sounds like “three” in English.
In May 2020, he released his debut album パンデミック(Pandemic).
In August 2023, he joined the four-member rock band Aooo as guitarist, alongside vocalist Riko Ishino, bassist Hikaru Yamamoto, and drummer Tsumiki.
In February 2024, one of his most well-known songs, “Telecaster B-Boy” even got a novel adaptation, published under MF Bunko J, written by Surii himself. It also received a manga adaptation that started serialization in Monthly Comic Gene.
Surii is also a member of the Vocaloid producer collective DREAMERS, which includes Ayase, syudou, and Tsumiki.
