An English rock band formed in Kent by vocalist Phil May and guitarist Dick Taylor, The Pretty Things took their name from Bo Diddley’s song “Pretty Things.” The band pioneered the R'n'B genre and composed the first rock opera, “S.F. Sorrow.”
