Born on February 16, 2005, in Columbus, Ohio, Tea’s musical journey began at 17 when he started experimenting with beats out of boredom. Initially focused on soccer at Westland High School, his dreams of a collegiate athletic career were sidelined by a senior-year injury. This turning point led him to pursue music full-time, leaving behind a Division 1 soccer offer from Ohio State and his job at Burger King.

Early collaborations with talents like Slump6s, Sgpwes, and Cayo set the stage for his rise, and his work soon extended to other notable names, including Maajins, Glaive, Summrs, Kashdami, Lunchbox, and Xhulooo.
